Happy Purim!

On Sunday, March 20th Storahtelling and the 14th Street Y led a Purim celebration through the streets of the East Village!
We began with Storahtelling and a Carnival in the Community Room, then paraded to the Weinberg Center to deliver Mishloach Manot (gifts of food and yummy treats) to the seniors living there.

Check out our great costumes and all the fun we had!

  1. Great post Camille. The Y is so lucky to have you.

For the adults who are new to the neighborhood and seeking some community I invite you to come to the monthly Punk Rope happy hour (first Monday of the month) at Otto’s (538 E. 14th St). To the teens who haven’t found what they’re looking for in gym class, check out Punk Rope every Monday evening at 7pm. You’ll hear some great rock and roll and do some wacky but fun exercises.

    Hop on,
    Tim
